Ecorobotix Inc., the North American division of the Swiss ag tech and AI company, Ecorobotix SA, has appointed Cameron Holbrook as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Ecorobotix Inc., established in 2023 and based in Salinas, California, brings the cutting-edge agricultural solutions of its Swiss parent company, Ecorobotix SA, to the American market.

Dedicated to revolutionizing farming, Ecorobotix focuses on reducing chemical and energy use while minimizing soil impact. The ARA smart sprayer, featuring AI Plant-by-Plant software and UHP-Spray-Technology, ensures precise crop treatment. This technology decreases inputs, enhances crop yields, and lowers CO2 emissions.

Holbrook brings extensive industry knowledge and a global perspective from his previous leadership roles at Nutrien, Deere & Co. (John Deere), and Amazon.
Agriculture has always been more than a career for Holbrook; it’s his passion and life’s work.

From his early days managing operations on his family’s 7,000-acre farm to being selected into John Deere’s prestigious Strategic Management Program for high-potential employees, Holbrook has dedicated himself to advancing the global agriculture industry.

His impressive career trajectory includes leading Amazon’s ag tech vertical, developing Cargill’s digital team, and spearheading Nutrien’s international e-commerce growth. Additionally, Holbrook has held various technology, sprayer manufacturing, and global roles at John Deere.

As a leader in precision agriculture, his expertise aligns perfectly with Ecorobotix's vision. He leverages advanced technologies to optimize crop yields and resource efficiency, a cornerstone of Ecorobotix's innovation.

His deep knowledge of sustainability ensures environmentally friendly practices. Also, Holbrook’s proficiency in AI and automation drives solutions like Ecorobotix’s smart sprayer, enhancing productivity and reducing costs.

Known for transforming teams and driving growth, his leadership will be crucial for Ecorobotix's growth and expansion in the US market.

“Given Cameron’s vast experiences in the agricultural industry, we are fully confident in his ability to advance the business in North America while providing our customers with high-value solutions,” stated Dominique Mégret, the Chief Executive Officer of Ecorobotix SA, at its headquarters in Yverdon-les-Bains, Switzerland.

“Joining Ecorobotix at such a pivotal time is a tremendous honor. I look forward to working with this talented team to further drive innovation and growth in precision agriculture, especially here in North America,” said Holbrook.
