Farm Power: Massey Ferguson square baler takes spotlight in Warburg, Alberta auction

A June 10 auction held by Ritchie Bros. in Warburg, Alberta, was highlighted by a square baler selling for more than $90,000.

The sale topper was a 2012 Massey Ferguson Hesston 2170 square baler, which sold for $93,000.

Specs: Fully adjustable hitch, fully adjustable driveline, quad augers for increased crop flow, high speed main gearbox ensure high impact force onto the crop, C1000 monitor that can determine bale count, work rates and flakes per bale.

A 2009 Morris Contour 47ft. air drill sold for $85,000.
