The federal minister of agriculture appears ready to defend his seat in the next federal election, which must take place on or before Oct. 20, 2025.
“Having had the honour of being elected by the people of Cardigan (P.E.I.) for eleven straight elections, Minister MacAulay is always preparing for the next campaign,” the minister's office told Farms.com in an email.
His opposition counterparts are ready too, as John Barlow (Conservative), Alistair MacGregor (NDP) and Yves Perron (Bloc), all confirmed their election participation to Farms.com as well.
