New Drill Features Precision Seeding and Compact Transport Design

Great Plains has unveiled its latest innovation, the BD7510 drill. This new model incorporates advanced seeding and metering technology from the BD 7600, the company’s flagship drill, into a more compact and versatile design.

Farms.com recently met with Tony Wisker, vice president of sales and marketing with Great Plains, to learn more about this new drill.

Designed for both min-till and no-till farming, the BD7510 ensures precise seed placement while offering a streamlined transport system.

One of its key advantages is its narrow transport width, allowing farmers to move it easily on roads. The drill is available in 15-foot and 20-foot working widths, providing flexibility based on field size and farming needs.

Transport efficiency is a standout feature of the BD7510. With a width of under 10 feet during transport, farmers can easily navigate roads and tight spaces.

Its folding mechanism, which requires just one remote valve, allows for quick transition from transport to field-ready mode in a matter of seconds.

By integrating precision planting technology into a more compact frame, the BD7510 offers farmers greater efficiency without compromising on performance.

It enhances productivity by ensuring optimal seed distribution, making it a reliable choice for modern farming.

Farmers looking to upgrade their planting equipment with a drill that balances performance, efficiency, and easy transport can explore the BD7510 in the video below.
