Siphons are handy tools on the farm. Mike Ryan, from the original Safety Siphon, said it is the safest solution to transferring fluids on the farm. The cool part about the original Safety Siphon is that you just shake it to prime it.

The Safety Siphon is designed to transfer gasoline, diesel, liquid fertilizer, oil, chemicals, etc., safely, quickly, and easily. It can also work with garden hoses if you purchase the garden hose adapter.

The Safety Siphon is available in a range of sizes for different on-farm needs, ranging in size from 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", and a 1” tube size. It also comes in two different lengths: 6 ft. and 10 ft. Each size and length are built for diverse types of uses, with each siphon having the ability to transfer different volumes per minute, pumping from 3.5 gallons to five gallons per minute depending on the tube size.

“That’s our 1/2” size; all you do is shake it to prime it, and it pumps 3 ½ gallons a minute.”

Just a simple tool could make filling machinery on the farm safer, quicker, and easier. The Safety Siphon works like magic; just shake the hose to start siphoning.
