Crop Pest Update

Manitoba Agriculture says grasshoppers continue to be the insect of greatest concern.
 
Diamondback moth populations in eastern Manitoba that were of concern in some fields a couple of weeks ago seem to have diminished.
 
Spider mites are being noticed in some soybean fields, but no insecticide applications for them have been reported yet.
