From the Farm Progress Show, Kubota Tractor Corporation announces the release of its all-new BV4580 round baler. The BV4580 is the highest capacity baler of Kubota's popular round baler line, bringing to market a baler producing the 5 ft. by 6 ft. variable diameter bales preferred by cow-calf and dairy producers.

The BV4580 features an easy-feed design system that manages high volumes of crop with an easy flow of materials into the baler, producing a dense, well-formed bale every time. Combined with the power bind net system, Kubota's BV4580 is one of the most productive five-by-six variable chamber balers on the market today.

"The BV4580 with its easy-feed design system is our first baler designed and engineered to specifically meet the needs of North American dairy and cattle farmers, and it won't be the last," said Dave Palmer, senior product manager for Kubota hay implements.

"This baler delivers the productivity our customers want from a five-by-six variable chamber baler. The BV4580 will meet the most demanding forage conditions all over cattle country - from the Cotton Belt and mid-South up to cow-calf herds in the Corn Belt, across the Great Plains and on dairy and beef farms in the North."

Expanding Hay Tool Line Signals Kubota's Continued Commitment to Commercial Farmers

In the last three years, Kubota made headlines by entering the hay tool market, and has since maintained a steady stream of product introductions. Earlier this year Kubota introduced its third phase of hay tool products, which now includes balers, disc mowers, disc mower conditioners, rakes and tedders.
Today's announcement of the newest - and largest - baler further establishes Kubota's position and dedication to domestic large agriculture markets. In addition to new products, Kubota has announced strategic acquisitions, including Kverneland Group in 2013 and just last July, the company acquired Great Plains Manufacturing, Inc.
