Manitoba's crop report week of Oct. 22, 2018

Relatively dry and sunny weather has helped harvest progress throughout Manitoba

Grain corn, sunflowers and some other crops in areas still coming off higher moisture and need drying

Harvest progress being set by daylight, field conditions and/or amount aeration, dryer space available

Fall field activities progress around harvest – soil sampling, tillage and fertilizer application increasing

Feed supplies still being assessed for livestock and producers looking for alternative feed sources
