New TraxosTwo Co-pack Provides Control of Grass and Broadleaf Weeds for Spring Wheat and Durum Growers

• A convenient all-in-one weed control package combines top-performing grass weed herbicide with powerful broadleaf weed control
• Targets wild oats, kochia and other weeds

Syngenta Canada Inc. is pleased to announce the release of Traxos®Two, a new cereal herbicide co-pack that provides spring wheat and durum growers with control of tough-to-manage annual grass and broadleaf weeds – including wild oats and kochia.

“With TraxosTwo, we are giving growers a convenient, all-in-one solution for post-emergent weed control,” explains Jon Habok, Product Lead, Cereal Herbicides for Syngenta Canada. “This new co-pack expands on the fast-acting grass weed control that cereal growers rely on with Traxos by adding a powerful broadleaf weed component.”

TraxosTwo combines four active ingredients: pinoxaden and clodinafop (Group 1), for control of difficult grass weeds, including wild oats, green foxtail and Persian darnel; and 2,4-D ester and fluroxypyr (Group 4), which control aggressive broadleaf weeds, such as kochia, cleavers and wild buckwheat.

Both the grass and broadleaf weed components of TraxosTwo are systemic, meaning they are absorbed and then move throughout plant tissue to provide rapid and effective control.

TraxosTwo can be applied from the 4-leaf to the flag leaf stage of the crop, either by ground or aerial equipment.

TraxosTwo is available as a 20-acre co-pack containing a 10 litre jug and a nine litre jug.
