Solinftec and AGCO Expand Partnership Globally, Strengthening Technology Integration in North America

West Lafayette, Indiana — Solinftec, a leader in agricultural digitalization, today announces a global partnership with AGCO Corporation, a leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of agricultural machinery and solutions, bringing Solinftec’s real-time agricultural insights to AGCO customers around the world.

AGCO and Solinftec have a rich history, having first partnered in South America in 2019. Seeing the results Solinftec delivered to sugar cane and row crop operations in this region, the companies decided to expand their partnership into North America and further integrate their digital solutions.machinery

“After years of developing a strong relationship in South America, we are eager to be expanding our strategic partnership with AGCO,” said Britaldo Hernandez, CEO and founder of Solinftec. “As Solinftec’s global footprint quickly evolves, having AGCO as a key partner strengthens our ability to provide real value to our customers.”

With this new global agreement, AGCO’s Premium machines will be “Solinftec ready” and capable of being fully integrated for use, first by ag retailers in North America. Through this connection, Solinftec customers will be able to accurately see parameters from their connected AGCO machines, modeled on the AI Solinftec platform to get a highly accurate picture of where inefficiencies are occurring and how they can be addressed in real time.

“We are constantly striving to make complicated decision-making simpler for farmers and ag retailers so they can be as efficient and productive as possible,” said Daniel Padrão, chief operating officer at Solinftec. “By fully integrating our solution with AGCO, our shared customers can have all of the information they need, in one place, to make the most informed farming decisions in the moment.”

Seth Crawford, AGCO’s senior vice president and general manager for Precision Ag and Digital, said, “We are excited to take our partnership with Solinftec to the next level by offering our ag retailer customers an easy way to save money and cover more acres with Solinftec’s solution on our RoGator and TerraGator application equipment in North America.”

In 2019, Solinftec’s solution for ag retailers was piloted on AGCO machines with several ag retailers, including Mid Kansas Cooperative Association (MKC).

“Solinftec is running on our entire AGCO fleet and is helping us provide solutions to our farmer customers to be able to use MKC as a value provider of service for their applications,” said Erik Lange, COO of MKC. “In the last, roughly, two years that we’ve been working with Solinftec, we have seen some great gains in efficiency and some great gains in our ability to do things that were very difficult before.”

Prior to this expanded partnership, Solinftec was available via AGCO dealers in South America as an aftermarket product. AGCO and Solinftec continue to explore opportunities to strengthen their partnership across subsequent product lines and regions.
