MN Ag Expo, the free winter convention hosted annually by Minnesota Corn and Minnesota Soybean, is back this week! Join us this Wednesday and Thursday at the Mayo Clinic Health System Event Center in Mankato for two days of education sessions, networking, demonstrations, a trade show, and more.

The online registration deadline for MN Ag Expo has passed, but we’d still love to have you, even if you’re not yet registered. Walk-ups are welcome to attend.

Here is what you can expect from Minnesota Corn during the event.

On the trade show floor

Stop by the Minnesota Corn booth (#55) to learn about how Minnesota’s corn organizations are promoting opportunities for farmers while enhancing quality of life. Visitors can take a survey to win a special prize from Minnesota Corn.

See how your investment in the Minnesota corn checkoff is delivering programs that build a better future for corn farmers and all Minnesotans. Learn about the grassroots advocacy by Minnesota Corn Growers Association (MCGA) farmer-leaders for policies that ensure corn farmers can maintain access to both crop production tools and markets.

Additionally, hear from researchers and farmers who are conducting projects funded by the Minnesota Corn Research & Promotion Council aimed at increasing crop productivity. The research booths will be located on the right side of the trade show floor as you walk in the room.

On Wednesday, University of Minnesota researchers who are conducting projects funded Minnesota Corn will present their work. On Thursday, farmers and scientists who have received funding through Minnesota Corn’s Innovation Grant program will be in attendance.

Minnesota Corn leadership and staff will be at the booth both days to help new and renewing members fill out membership forms.

Membership costs $75 annually, though if you have sold at least 7,500 bushels of corn in the past year and paid into the Minnesota corn checkoff, you may qualify for a one-year membership at no cost. For people ages 16 to 24, membership costs $20 annually.
