AGCO wins big at 2025 AE50 awards
AGCO Corporationwas honored with five AE50 awards for 2025 by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE).
These awards recognize innovations in the agricultural, food, and biological industries for their engineering advancements and market impact.
AGCO's diverse product lineup, which includes AGCO Parts, Fendt®, Precision Planting®, and PTx Trimble™ brands, received recognition for their innovative contributions to agriculture.
"AGCO's 2025 AE50 winners build on the momentum set by our innovations of the last five years, providing farmer-focused solutions that save time, reduce costs and enhance yields," said AGCO Chairman, President & CEO Eric Hansotia. "I'm especially proud that these awards span our brands, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to addressing farmers' needs and values."
One of the award-winning products, the AGCO Parts Application Lift System, enhances machine versatility by allowing operators to efficiently exchange application systems (e.g., switching between dry and liquid systems) without requiring additional equipment like cranes. This innovation improves the cost-effectiveness and ease of the process.
The Fendt ErgoSteer™ Retrofittable Steering Joystick offers ergonomic and precise control for Fendt 500 to 1000 series tractors. This joystick, operated from the seat's armrest, minimizes driver movement and enhances control, providing improved efficiency and comfort during field operations.
The Fendt Momentum® 30-Foot Planter is designed for smaller farms, offering advanced planting benefits such as 100-bushel seed capacity and 800-gallon fertilizer capacity. Precision Planting options ensure accurate fertilizer control, and the Load Logic™ system reduces soil compaction, optimizing planting depth for better crop emergence.
Precision Planting's ReconBlockage™ Sensor uses acoustic technology to detect flow issues during seeding and fertilizing, helping prevent yield loss by alerting operators to blockages.
The PTx Trimble OutRun™ Autonomous Grain Cart Solution allows tractors to operate grain carts autonomously, improving productivity and reducing labor dependency during harvest.
AGCO’s recognition highlights its ongoing innovation in agriculture, offering solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity for farmers.
