Buyers during an April 3 BigIron equipment auction featuring 3,158 items spent the most money on a John Deere sprayer.

The 2021 612R sprayer from Elizabethtown, Ky., sold for US$328,250 (CAD$445,870) to a buyer from Indiana after 171 bids.

That’s an average of about $1,919 per bid.
