Canada’s Farm Show in Regina, a cornerstone event in the agricultural industry, is gearing up for its 46th edition with significant changes.

The 2025 show, scheduled for March 18 to 20, aims to attract more attendees by aligning better with the agricultural calendar, responding to industry feedback and evolving demands.

Roberta Engel, Acting CEO and President of REAL, emphasized the strategic shift based on extensive consultations with industry leaders and farmers.

The new dates are expected to rejuvenate the event, enabling better participation from farmers and integrating under-represented sectors within the agriculture industry.

Engel expressed gratitude to partners, sponsors, exhibitors, and farmers who made the previous events successful and looks forward to welcoming them back in the spring of 2025.

Highlights from the 2024 show included dynamic initiatives like the Launch Pad by Deloitte, where companies like Degelman Industries and Morris Equipment showcased new products.

The event also featured the Premier’s Breakfast by Farm Credit Canada, the Global AgTech Summit by Cultivator, and a career event by Agriculture Manufacturers of Canada.

A significant announcement was the $5 million investment by Farm Credit Canada to support The Global Institute for Food Security.

The 24 Hour Startup Challenge was a notable part of the show, encouraging innovation among participants. FeedFlow won first place, while AgMentor and Scan My Herd also received accolades for their technological innovations and public appeal, respectively.

The Innovation Showcase continued its four-decade tradition of recognizing groundbreaking inventions in agriculture. Winners like Devloo Roto Mud Scrapers, Wilger Industries LTD, and KOMB AG Services exemplified the inventive spirit of the show.
