Of the 1,480 items sold at a June 19 BigIron auction, buyers showed the most interest in a John Deere tractor.

A 2015 John Deere 9520R tractor from Bertrand, Neb., sold for the highest price during the auction, selling for US$260,750 (CAD$357,550) to a buyer in Texas after 236 bids.

Specs: 2,358 hours, 20 Hp, John Deere 13.5L 6-cyl Diesel, Powershift Transmission, 18 Forward Speeds, Large 1000 PTO, 4 Auxiliary Hydraulics, 800-70R38 Front Tires, 800-70R38 Rear Tires, Clevis Hitch, Heater, AC, Radio, Guidance Ready.

The following pieces of equipment round out five items that sold for the highest prices during the auction.

A 2020 John Deere S2780 2WD combine from Bertrand, Neb., sold for US$172,750 (CAD$236,875) to a buyer from Indiana after 291 bids.

A 2014 CLAAS LEXION 740 combine from Shelby, Neb., sold for US$88,550 (CAD$121,414) to a buyer from the same state after 222 bids.

A 2014 Kenworth T370 S/A feed truck with a Roto-Mix 620-16XD from Albion, Neb. sold for US$75,500 (CAD$103,516) to a buyer from North Carolina after 208 bids.
