Video gamers with a passion for agriculture, farmers with an interest in video games and everyone in between could see a new farming video game on store shelves by fall 2016.

Farming 2017: The Simulation will be available on PC and traditional game consoles including Xbox One and PS4.

The game allows players to run nearly every aspect of their farms.

From planting, harvesting and spraying to marketing products and reinvesting into better equipment, the player can be in complete control of the entire farm.

“Farming Simulator is a one of a kind story in the video game industry,” said Cédric Lagarrigue, president of Focus Home Interactive (the game’s publisher) in a release. “Years ago we imagined a unique destiny for this game.”

Not much is known about any possible new features of the game but one thing that is confirmed is that agricultural manufacturer Lely is on board as a licence partner.

As a result, some of Lely’s products including the Lely Splendimo 900 MC Mower, the Lely Astronaut A4 Milking Robot and the Lely Luna cow brush will be available to game players.
