In June, with pressure from Ontario’s ag community, the provincial government made changes to Bill 97, which, if left unchanged, would’ve allowed farmers to build up to three homes on existing farmland.
The Ontario Federation of Agriculture, National Farmers Union and other ag organizations rallied together to make this change happen.
