John Deere will showcase farm equipment along with hundreds of other exhibitors at the 35th Big Iron Farm Show.

The Big Iron Farm Show is slated to kick off on Sept. 15 and continue through Sept. 17 at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo, North Dakota. At the event, more than 900 exhibitors will have booths set up for attendees to learn more about the latest agricultural equipment and products.

“The Big Iron Farm Show has grown steadily since its inception in 1980,” said Mike St. Onge, a committee chairman of the Big Iron Farm Show. “The original founders wanted to provide a venue to demonstrate equipment used in the Upper Midwest. The first show was basically demonstration-focused. Since that time, the exhibitor list has grown to include products which affect all facets of production and agriculture.”

This year, there will be demonstrators and exhibitors from around the world, including John Deere. Field demonstrations will focus on spraying each day from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Red River Valley Grandstand. Farm issues will be discussed in sessions at the Red River Farm Network Issues and Events Center.

Ongoing Big Iron Farm Show traditions will be held this year as well. For example, the Ladies Brunch and Style Show will be held on Sept. 16, and a pancake and sausage breakfast will be served on both Sept. 15 and Sept. 16.

“The content and context under which the show operates has made it a must attend for producers, exhibitors and all those who consider themselves friends of the agricultural industry,” St. Onge continued.
