APAS Re-Elects Todd Lewis

The Agricultural Producers Association of Saskatchewan held its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday.
 
The APAS Board of Directors once again re-electing Todd Lewis of Grey to serve in the role as President for 2021.
 
Ian Boxall of Tisdale and Bill Prybylski of Willowbrook were re-elected as the organizations Vice Presidents.
 
During the meeting APAS members also received the final report from the Rural Connectivity Task Force that looked into the causes of poor rural internet
and cellular service - details of which will be released on Wednesday.
 
The group also passed six resolutions including a motion calling for the rejection of the Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Crops draft voluntary Code of Practice for Grain Production and the adoption of the 43 recommendations from the final report of the APAS Rural Connectivity Task Force on internet and cell service.
