Back In-Person, Better Than Ever: Agriculture’s Premier Networking & Education Event

The 20th annual AgCareers.com North American Ag & Food HR Roundtable returns live and in-person on August 3 & 4, 2022. For the first time, the Roundtable is heading to Tennessee, hosted in Nashville by Tennessee State University.

“We’re thrilled to partner with AgCareers.com to host the 2022 Roundtable and welcome participants to the historic Tennessee State University campus in Nashville,” commented De’Etra Young, PhD, Associate Dean for Academics and Land-Grant Programs, College of Agriculture, Tennessee State University. “As one of the top HBCUs in agriculture and food science research, Tennessee State is integral in talent development to feed our diverse global population,” added Dr. Young.

The Ag & Food HR Roundtable is the foremost North American event for agricultural human resources, managers, and educational professionals.

“We can’t think of a better place than Music City to celebrate our 20th Anniversary Ag & Food HR Roundtable,” said Bonnie Johnson, AgCareers.com Marketing & Communications Manager. “We’re bringing back all the face-to-face networking opportunities we’ve missed, along with invaluable education and professional development opportunities to enhance the talent pipeline in agriculture and food,” added Johnson.

The event focuses on relevant content for the ag and food industry, examining recruitment, talent management, and retention. Experts in their fields, professors, speakers, and agriculture influencers share their knowledge with attendees. Participants may also earn continuing education credits for attendance.

In addition to this educational aspect, the combination of HR and educational professionals provides a unique and rewarding networking experience found nowhere else. The event typically draws nearly 200 attendees, from HR professionals, executives and managers, to collegiate faculty and career services staff, and association representatives.

The Roundtable Organizing Committee, a group of industry peers, will meet virtually on December 13th to help AgCareers.com develop the 2022 roundtable schedule of events, topics, and ideas for speakers.
