New Features Include EM FlowSense, Residue Management, And Individual Liquid Flow Monitoring

Case IH’s Early Riser planter lineup for model year 2026 introduces exciting new features aimed at improving planting efficiency and precision.

These updates focus on advanced electronics, nutrient application, and residue management to support growers in achieving optimal crop performance.

Farms.com connected with David Brennan, planter marketing manager with Case IH, to learn more about these new upgrades.

One of the most notable additions is the incorporation of EM FlowSense, which allows growers to monitor liquid flow per row.

This feature, visible through the Pro 1200 display, enables farmers to track nutrient application in real time, ensuring that each row gets the correct amount of nutrients.

In addition to this, the dual band 2 by 2 liquid application device, now factory-installed, offers a new way to apply fertilizer while protecting the seed from potential fertilizer burn. The Conceal product further enhances this system by placing nutrients off to the side of the seed.

The model year 2026 planter lineup also features changes in residue management. A new hybrid tying tooth design improves control within the cab, while a redesigned tyne wheel with depth band enhances residue management on the Early Riser 2000 series.

These additions help improve seedbed preparation and ensure that residue doesn't interfere with planting.

Another key update is the introduction of split scale capability for the 24-row, 30-inch configuration of the 2150 model. This allows growers to accurately monitor the product levels in the right and left tanks, ensuring precise product fills during planting.

With these new features, the model year 2026 Early Riser planters are designed to provide greater precision and efficiency, giving farmers the tools they need to maximize their crop yields.
