The Iowa Soybean Research Center at Iowa State University welcomes Ag Ingenuity Partners, the research division of Advanced Agrilytics, as its 20th industry partner. The company will serve as a representative on the ISRC’s industry advisory council, which provides guidance on research needs and funding priorities for the center.
“Ag Ingenuity Partners specializes in spatial agriculture research, bringing practical product and performance insights to our industry partners,” said Jon Bokmeyer, director of Ag Ingenuity Partners. “Our focus on continuous improvement and innovation aligns closely with the objectives of the ISRC and we’re honored to be part of the effort to bring novel management strategies to soybean growers in Iowa.”
“We are excited to gain Ag Ingenuity Partners’ valuable perspective identifying research to support why and how to enhance soybean productivity benefiting Iowa’s soybean farmers,” said Christie Wiebbecke, senior director of research for the Iowa Soybean Association and chair of the Iowa Soybean Research Center’s Industry Advisory Council.
“Ag Ingenuity Partners’ experience and emphasis on fostering research and understanding how environmental conditions affect products aimed to improve crop performance will be valuable in the center’s discussions about future research needs,” said Greg Tylka, director of the Iowa Soybean Research Center and professor of plant pathology, entomology and microbiology at Iowa State.
As one of the ISRC’s industry partners, Ag Ingenuity Partners will also provide financial support to the center, which will be leveraged with soybean checkoff funds from the Iowa Soybean Association to support soybean research at the university.
The center is a formal collaboration of Iowa State’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the Iowa Soybean Association and industry partners. Together, representatives from ISA and the industry make up the ISRC’s Industry Advisory Council. Ag Ingenuity Partners is the center’s newest industry partner, joining AGCO, Albaugh, AMVAC, BASF, Bayer, Beck’s, Cornelius Seed, Corteva Agriscience, FMC, GDM, Innvictis/Simplot, Meristem Crop Performance, Merschman Seeds, Mosaic, Nutrien, Peterson Genetics, Sound Agriculture, Syngenta and UPL.
