Manitoba Crop Report

Manitoba Agriculture says seeding is nearly complete.
 
This includes reseeding from frost, wind and insect damage.
 
Flea beetle spraying is ongoing, as producers are closely monitoring insect pressure in combination with previous frost injuries.
 
The province says crop growth and emergence is doing well, despite challenging spring conditions.
 
Recent storms damaged crops and pastures in the municipalities of Stuartburn, Piney and Emerson-Franklin.
