Video: This Farmall Was Built Only 3 Years - 1957 Farmall Model 230

Don Rimathe grew up on red power and his Farmall 230 is just one of the bright red prizes in his growing collection. The Farmall 230 was built from about 1956 to 1958 with a total production of about 7,100. The tractor featured the fast hitch, International Harvesters answer to the competitors 3 point hitch. The Farmall 230 has an International Harvester 4-cylinder, 122 cubic-inch engine that could do about 25 horsepower on the drawbar and about 28 horsepower on the belt. Back in 1958 this tractor would have cost you about $2,100 US dollars.
