
Here’s a small preview of some of the farm shows occurring early on in the year.
At the end of January, the American Farm Bureau has its annual convention in San Antonio, Texas.
The event from Jan. 24 to 29, will help the national organization set the agenda as the leading voice of ag in Washington, D.C.
The convention will also include educational workshops, additional tours to local farms, and guest speakers.
In early February, the Southern Farm Show takes place at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds in Raliegh, N.C.
From Feb. 5 to 7, farmers can attend the largest annual ag exposition in the Carolinas and Virginia.
It hosts over 400 exhibitors and includes meetings, workshops and helps farmers prepare for the upcoming growing season.
