Detailed Description
Service, utility, and mechanic trucks are used by mining operations and municipalities as well as construction, railroad, utility, and other operations to perform repairs, maintenance, and other work in the field. Doing so can create efficiency and productivity gains, especially in situations when transporting heavy equipment such a bulldozer or excavator back to a shop isn’t feasible or would create even greater delays and logistics issues. What primarily distinguishes these types of trucks from a basic pickup truck and similar vehicles is the specialized storage compartments and drawers they include to organize and transport the tools, parts, supplies, and other equipment necessary for technicians, mechanics, and service providers to carry out specific tasks onsite.
