Dairy, crop, pork and beef producers operate vastly different enterprises with distinct lending needs. Ag lending professionals can gain insights for navigating the unique opportunities and risks during the Agricultural Lending Institute Midwest, set for July 9-11 at Iowa State University.
This is the inaugural midwestern offering of the program by ALI, the premier institute for ag lending professionals. Register for ALI-Midwest by June 9.
ALI meets the needs of loan officers, underwriters, lawyers and others involved in ag lending by providing training that addresses the unique challenges of financing Midwest agriculture, from financial analysis and underwriting to risk and advanced credit topics.
ALI-Midwest is an intensive, three-day, one-year program. It is designed for ag lenders with two or more years of lending experience seeking to build a solid foundation in ag lending. Featured speakers for the midwestern program include Jason Henderson, Iowa State University’s vice president for extension and outreach and an agricultural economist who spent 15 years with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
ALI-Midwest is a joint project of the Agricultural Lending Institute Inc., Bridgeforth LLP, California State University and Iowa State University.
